1. No Refund Policy (General)

Squarelay provides customized, personalized, and writer-created services, including but not limited to resume writing, editing, optimization, and related professional services.

Due to the nature of the product and service, all purchases made on Squarelay are non-refundable. Once an order is placed and work has started, no refund, cancellation, or reversal will be permitted under any circumstances.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Change of mind
  • Dissatisfaction based on personal expectations
  • Lack of interview calls or job offers
  • Delay caused by user-side information submission
  • Market or recruiter-related outcomes

Since the service involves time, expertise, and intellectual effort of professional writers, refunds are strictly not applicable.

2. Portfolio Plan – Hosting & Billing Terms

If you purchase a Portfolio-related plan from Squarelay, the following billing terms apply:

  • The first year of hosting is provided free of cost, unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase
  • After the first year, hosting charges, renewal fees, and maintenance costs will apply
  • These charges may vary based on hosting provider costs, technical requirements, maintenance scope, and market factors

Squarelay reserves the right to revise hosting, renewal, or maintenance charges in the future.

For detailed and updated pricing, users are advised to refer to the Schedule of Charges page available on the website.

3. Maintenance & Additional Charges

Any additional services such as:

  • Website updates
  • Design changes
  • Content modifications
  • Technical maintenance
  • Feature enhancements

may be subject to separate charges, depending on the scope of work. Such charges will be communicated separately and are not included unless explicitly mentioned.

4. Billing Accuracy & User Responsibility

Users are responsible for:

  • Reviewing service details before making payment
  • Understanding the scope, pricing, and inclusions
  • Providing correct billing information

Squarelay is not responsible for issues arising from incorrect user-provided details.

5. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Any attempt to initiate a chargeback, payment reversal, or dispute after service delivery or work initiation may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of services
  • Permanent account restriction
  • Legal or recovery action, if applicable

6. Policy Changes

Squarelay reserves the right to update, modify, or replace this Refund & Billing Policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
